The gold-studded ceremony featured gilded thrones, matching gold outfits encrusted with diamonds and jewels, and so on. The bride’s accessories included a diamond tiara studded with six teardrop-shaped emeralds, a posy that comprised gems, a veil made of gold embroidered lace, as well as Swarovski crystal-encrusted Louboutins which would’ve made any fashionista swoon with envy.
The wedding, which was held at the Sultan’s 1,788-room Istana Nurul Iman palace in the capital of Brunei, Bandar Seri Begawan, saw friends, family, members of the royal family, and foreign dignitaries attending.
The festivities began a week earlier on 5 April 2015, which culminated in the branding or enthronement ceremony.
